A staggering 1083 homes (25% of these homes) are foreclosures. 307 of these foreclosures were listed for sale within the past 30 days. A few of these houses have already been discounted. Banks usually use what is called a Broker Price opinion (BPO) to determine the listing price of the property. This is usually pretty close to the appraised value of the property assuming that the property is in top condition. A lot of these foreclosures end up being sold for less than the BPO price.
